Kronos Technical Systems Analyst

SUMMARY
The Payroll Kronos Technical Analyst provides system support related to Kronos 7.X testing and configuration reviews and testing updates. This position performs data analysis in order to extract requirements, identify data inaccuracies, and ensure accurate processing and reporting.  The Technical Kronos Analyst authors and reviews functional design documents that will be used to communicate business requirements to the technology development team. This position designs, and executes test plans within the business area.
  • Working with the Kronos support team on multiple small to large enterprise projects
  • Projects could include enhancement and optimization as well as implementations for Kronos modules such as accruals, timekeeper and attendance
  • Partner with the business gathering requirements, performing business and process analysis, and system configuration and integration
  • Responsible for optimizing economies of scale, delivering automation where applicable, and continuously improving process to reduce manual effort and overall costs
  • Deep knowledge of Kronos 7.0 configuration for Timekeeper, Accruals, Attendance, Process Manager, and Integration Manager WIM
  • Contribute to the on-call support rotation and provide production support
Required Skills and Experience
  • 5 years’ experience with Kronos WFC and Advance Scheduler required.
  • 5 years in Manufacturing payroll and time & attendance
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required as Excel, Power Point, Visio, Qlikview, SQL, MS Visual Studio, Kronos, WIM or Connect.
  • Experience configuring Kronos WFC applications and features, e.g. Work Rules, Pay Rules, Holiday schedules, Accruals, Attendance, Pay Code Distributions, Function Access Profiles, Data Access Profiles, Hyperfind Queries
  • Prior experience with custom integration of Kronos 6.X with PeopleSoft HCM 9.X or other compatible ERP application, preferred
  • Skilled at problem solving, analytical thinking, strong organizational skills
  • Communicate effectively with team/stakeholders as well as operational and IT managers - both written and verbal
  • Consistently delivers an extraordinary customer experience when interacting with peers, end-users, and others
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting Kronos Workforce Solutions.
  • Configuration experience in Kronos Attendance module.

  • Create and maintain 4500 and InTouch Terminals in Workforce Device Manager
  • Knowledge of business payroll/timekeeping practices/best practices
  • Strong customer focus skills to work with users on defining needs and resolving issues.
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills, including the ability to maintain several concurrent projects while providing realistic delivery dates and managing customer expectations
  • Strong ownership and accountability skills
  • Strong initiative and self-starter to work on projects with limited management oversight
  • Experience leading small to medium projects in a team environment
  • Experience developing test plans and scenarios
  • Strong conceptual, analytical critical thinking, and problem-solving ability
  • Proven experience working with complex systems and the solution development life cycle
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Experience authoring detailed business requirement documents
  • Be forward-thinking and identify gaps of requests customers want today and how that may impact future decisions
  • Connect customer to impacts of decisions - Don't be an order-taker, help them find the best solutions
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business related field, or management information systems required.
Education Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/related field or 5 years professional IT work experience
