Senior Cyber Security Architect

Essential Role and Responsibilities
  • Work with Federal clients to mitigate cyber risk and threats
  • Organize and deliver services on a cross-section of complex projects
  • Actively participate in the development of business and vendor relationships
  • Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process
  • Responsible for project(s) financials including development of financial plans
  • Display leadership and business judgment in anticipating client/project needs and developing alternative solutions
  • Provide counseling/coaching, oversight, and support for delivery teams and staff
  • Assist with and provide recommendations on developing cyber security strategies, conducting reviews of existing technologies and systems cyber security implementation, reviewing applicable guidance/requirements
  • Provide cyber security contracting template recommendations and organizational POA&M contract timeline tracking and reporting
  • Assess information systems and provide recommendations for migrating from DIACAP to RMF
  • Recommend and establish innovative cyber security models, processes and procedures
  • Develop reports, briefings whitepapers and other artifacts as required

Essential Skills and Experience
  • 2+ years in a technical or functional lead role
  • 4+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience
  • Experience mentoring and coaching others
  • Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Experience managing senior-level client relationships
  • Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
  • Pre-sales, proposal, and RFP experience
  • Active Top Secret security clearance required
  • CISSP-ISSEP and/or CISSP-ISSAP certifications
  • 20 years of IT experience, with 15 years of dedicated IASAE experience
  • Experience with security management, information security risk assessments, information security engineering, network security management, application design and architecture, network engineering
  • Previous Federal Consulting experience
  • Understanding of fundamental cloud computing concepts
  • Experience with Information Assurance concepts and processes within the Federal government
  • Knowledge of and experience with Federal security regulations, standards, and processes including FISMA, FIPS, NIST, and FedRAMP
  • Proven expertise with: Cyber Security Management, Cyber Risk Assessments, Cyber Security Planning
