The Security Solutions team oversees the Cyber Security Program for all Motorola Solutions products.  The ultimate goal of the organization is to define Cyber Security solutions that protect Motorola Solutions’ customers, their data and operations, as well as, provide differentiation of Motorola Solutions products and solutions in the area of Cyber Security.
 
Job Description :
 
As a team-member, in a lead or contributor role, you will be responsible to find new, innovative ways to define and architect solutions to enhance the security of Motorola Solutions products and solutions.  Working with Development Teams, Management, Service, and Field Teams you will be exposed to both Cloud and On-Premise architectures, across a variety of risk environments. Specific responsibilities are:
 
  • Be the lead architect for a product/feature in support of authentication, authorization or cryptographic solutions.
  • Identify and architect new products and features that drive customer value.
  • Participate in voice of customer discussions to understand use cases, lead demo sessions to gather user feedback.
  • Create requirements documentation to capture the needs defined in collaboration with the product manager.
  • Prepare Engineering Feasibility Assessments, and/or Engineering Effort Estimates;
  • Perform Technical Risk Mitigation through research, modeling, simulation and/or prototyping.
  • Provide subject expertise and guidance to the development teams.
  • Support of design and/or implementation of detailed system, subsystem and/or software test strategies, configurations and procedures;
  • Key content contributor in the creation of product documentation and training.
  • Participation in Field and/or Customer issue resolution and support activities;
  • Support of and/or participation in TIA, ETSI, or 3GPP secure related standards development processes.
 
Basic Requirements :
 
  • Minimum of a Bachelor of Applied Science (or equivalent) in Electrical, Computer, Software, and/or Systems Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years direct experience in an advanced software/system development engineering environment is essential;
  • Knowledge/Experience in symmetric key management and/or Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) technologies
  • Experience with key security concepts such as authentication, authorization, and cryptography;
  • Experience in: network security techniques, secure software development methodologies, and secure protocols;
  • Knowledge/experience in secure end to end system design
  • Working knowledge of one or more of the following programming languages/environments is an asset: C, C++, JAVA);
  • Working knowledge of one or more of the following operating systems is an asset: Android, iOS, Linux, Windows;
  • Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) a plus.
  • Excellent English language communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) are essential;
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and schedule individual and group work assignments;
  • Ability to work and influence in a very matrixed organization
  • Team focus, dedication, self-motivated, attention to detail and flexibility
